Ingham hosts open day in new temporary location!
selectability’s open day in Ingham was a resounding success, showcasing a new temporary home for recipients and the team following damage from the weather event earlier this year.
The location in the heart of town - Canegrowers Building, 11–13 Lannercost Street – has allowed for continued delivery of high-quality care, as well as the continuation of the clubhouse schedule.
Locals, providers and recipients had the opportunity to see the space yesterday, learn about our services and enjoy lunch, donated generously by Galipo’s Midtown Meats.
“I think there are several things that we really wanted to showcase today,” Regional Coordinator Julie Ross said.
“That despite these setbacks we are still delivering services as per usual, in this beautiful temporary space.
“The support and generosity from the community during this time has been amazing, and the team have been working hard to ensure the continuation of service.”
“Our regular timetable is available, and the team are available to anyone that would like to know more about the different services we deliver to support the Ingham community.”
PLEASE NOTE: If you’re planning a visit outside group times, please give us a quick call at 4781 2690 so we can welcome you properly!
