Meet the team: Desley Di Bella
Meet Desley! She has been working for selectability for the last 8 months as a support coordinator in the Ingham region.
As a part of her role, Desley works closely with consumers in the region to navigate the NDIS and interpret their individual packages; ensuring they are getting the most out of their NDIS plans.
“The team here at selectability is in growth mode, and it is really good to be a part of that,” Desley said.
“I am surrounded by a very supportive and knowledgeable team and am enjoying learning the business and meeting the consumers.
Born and raised in Ingham, the mother of 5 children and 4 grandchildren is well versed in the needs of locals she has spent the majority of her life with.
It is this insight and previous experience that makes someone like Desley so valuable to our delivery of best practice services in Ingham.
“My background is predominantly with Queensland Health/Oral Health where I spent almost 20 years.
“During this time, I worked as a Dental Assistant, Senior Dental Assistant and Administration Team Leader for Oral Health.
“I completed a 12-month secondment as manager of HomeCare for Ingham Hospital.”
With this, Desley’s experience as a trainer, assessor and auditor gives her a wealth of knowledge, making her a valuable asset to the team.
Outside of work, Desley spends most of her time outdoors gardening with her dogs on her acreage.
For her day-to-day at selectability, Desley is supported by a strong team of locals across different services.
selectability Ingham will be holding a community open day to showcase these services and more.
