Meet the Team: Rachelle Hold

Meet Rachelle – she has been an asset to selectability in Mackay for the last two and a half years.

Currently in the role of team leader – support coordination, Rachelle prides herself on being the first psychosocial recovery coach in Mackay when NDIS implemented the service category.

This is graciously overshadowed by her passion and devotion to improving the wellbeing of our consumers.

“I love seeing my consumers, meeting their desired goals and fulfilling their requests in times of assistance,” said Rachelle.

“I really enjoy seeing other people smile, that definitely brings me joy.”

Making a difference in people’s lives has been a burning passion since she first moved to Mackay six years ago.

As team leader – support coordination, Rachelle is responsible for leading a team that supports individuals with an NDIS plan better understand the scheme, strengthen their capacity to coordinate their own support and get the most out of their plans.

Rachelle’s unique drive and willingness to go the extra mile for her consumers is what makes her a great fit for selectability’.

Not only that, but she also has a valuable piece of advice for others seeking a role within the sector:

“If you are compassionate in helping others in their day-to-day life, I will definitely advise to give it a shot!

“Even if you are unsure at least give it a try.”
