Meet the team: selectability's corporate team
Meet the corporate team! It’s been a year since we made the move to selectability’s head office in the Townsville CBD, so to mark the milestone we’re showcasing the important role our corporate team plays in supporting operations across our footprint!
Home to functions including finance, human resources, marketing and quality and compliance, our corporate office is also the base for our selectability Training, child safety, Suicide Prevention Queensland and aged care teams.
Each employee comes with a wide range of skills, matched only by their dedication to their role.
Matthew Julien – quality and compliance officer
“As a large organisation, it is important that we are compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements, which is what my role is responsible for.”
“I find it very rewarding that I get to engage with employees at different sites across our footprint and seeing the amazing services we provide our consumers,”
Brylee Staples – RTO administrator
“I love knowing the work that I do helps and supports people in our community to live their best lives.
“But also, being able to keep my integrity and not have to compromise my own personal values for a job is the most important thing to me.”
“I am one of the first contact points for students to engage in our training programs,” said Brylee.
“Part of my role is also to provide support for any questions or queries around their studies!”
Bryn Hicks – suicide prevention program coordinator
“I am very passionate about suicide prevention, and selectability has been very supportive of that passion, especially when providing the opportunity to progress and learn on a daily basis,” Bryn said.
“The best part of the role is receiving feedback from community members that the work we are doing is helping people and saving lives.”
A strong corporate function has allowed selectability to mature its service delivery and provide support to more than 800 employees across 13 regions.
The growth of the team in the last 12 months demonstrates the need for mental wellbeing and suicide prevention services across Queensland.
