Meet the Team: Veronica S.
Meet Veronica - our new property officer based in our corporate office in Townsville!
Recently relocating from chilly Victoria, Veronica is embracing life in sunny Queensland and settling into her new role at selectability.
With over five years of experience in community services and a background in the tourism industry, Veronica has a strong passion for connecting with others and creating positive experiences.
“I’ve always loved travel and meeting people, and now I’m excited to apply my skills to support selectability’s mission,” said Veronica.
“The respect and recognition I’ve felt from the team here at selectability have been amazing.
“It’s a workplace culture that truly values individual strengths.
As Property Officer, Veronica plays a vital role in ensuring selectability’s facilities and resources are well-managed, enabling our employees to deliver high-quality services across regional Queensland.
“I’m proud to contribute to improving mental wellbeing and preventing suicide, not just through my work but also by spreading positivity and being there for others.
In her short time at selectability, Veronica has already learned the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, both in and outside of work.
“It is pretty important to always smile and be willing to give things a go,” she advises.
She also is a firm believer that others interested in the sector should always ask questions and foster open communication.
“It’s the key to success.”
Outside of work, Veronica is an aerialist who loves health and fitness, adventures, and baking keto-friendly treats.
Heading into the festive season, Veronica believes in the importance of self care and reflection during the holidays
“I wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season and hope you take time to reflect on all the magic that 2024 has brought.”
Welcome to the team Veronica!
