Charters Towers

As a part of our ongoing commitment to delivering local, tailored services to regional Queenslanders, the Charters Towers region has been a pinnacle of selectability’s expansion.

To support our continued growth in the region, selectability purchased, refurbished and recently opened a more accessible, premises that will become a central location for the delivery of a range of programs and services.

The team started delivering the proven Clubhouse program in 2022. The group activities are popular among consumers promoting connection, community engagement and capacity building. 

selectability is known in the region for our open-door policy, as we continue to work with other services in the area to ensure that consumers are aware of the support available to them.

selectability Charters Towers manage several residential homes for NDIS supported independent living (SIL) and child safety.

Services

individual support

Support to build personal skills, develop relationships, and improve mental wellbeing. Accessed through NDIS or state and federal government programs for those not on the scheme (subject to availability in the region). 

support coordination

NDIS support coordinators work with you to maximise the value of your plan and enhance your understanding of the services that will get you closer to your goals.

recovery coaching

If you have a psychosocial disability this NDIS support option will help you to take more control of your life and manage the complex challenges of day-to-day living.

supported independent living (SIL)

This NDIS support options is for those with more complex  needs, who need some level of help at home every day. 

Carer Gateway

Free services that connect carers with emotional and practical support. 

selectwellbeing

Up to 12 months of individual and group support for individuals experiencing a severe mental illness and who are not currently on the NDIS. 

BikeShed

Innovative facilities designed to help regional Queenslanders overcome loneliness and get more active. 

Clubhouse program

Make friends, learn new skills and improve your mental wellbeing in a safe space. Timetables designed in collaboration with members, based on interests.

group programs

Safe spaces to help you increase social participation, develop new skills, build your capacity, and strengthen community connections.
