Child safety

selectability is a committed to improving the lives of regional Queenslanders of all ages!

We have been delivering high-quality child safety services across regional Queensland since 2020, ensuring vulnerable young people in our care have the support in place to meet their developmental needs.

In collaboration with government agencies, selectability is working to increase our capacity so that we can deliver these vital services to more children across our footprint.

We currently work with around 20 young people, helping them to build resilience and reach their potential supporting them to develop a positive sense of identity, social skills and the ability to create community connections.

Providing young people with safe and secure housing is vital to ensuring their physical and mental wellbeing.

Our next steps

selectability is a rapidly growing service provider, with new business expansion in aged care, and the extension of services in the out-of-home care sector. We have recently received an invitation to make an application for becoming a Licensed Care service.

selectabillity is committed to obtaining HSQF (Human Services Quality Framework) accreditation in the out-of-home care sector.

selectability will undergo the initial HSQF audit for the child protection placement Services in March 2025 with full certification by August 2025.

In preparation for this, all youth workers within the program either hold the relevant qualification in line with the minimum qualification standards or studying towards this.
