Training innovation earns selectability Medium Employer of the Year award
Leading mental wellbeing and suicide prevention organisation selectability, was today announced as the State’s medium employer of the year at the Queensland Training Awards online ceremony.
The award recognised selectability’s best practice approach to innovation in vocational education and training for its workforce.
Selectability CEO Debra Burden welcomed the award and said “The organisation had worked hard to design contemporary training tailored to the needs of our employees and the people we support,” said Ms Burden
“Before the roll out of the NDIS, our organisation identified the need to build a workforce with specific training in mental health.
“Best practice training is embedded into all of our processes and part of our culture which means we can quickly respond to changes in workforce and industry requirements”.
